{Jenn Robirds Events} Simone + Sean

This late fall wedding takes the cake for most romantic wedding EVER. The candlelit Barrel Room of the Old Sugar Mill served as the backdrop for Simone and Sean's November wedding. The couple met through church and had big dreams for their wedding day. Simone, a singer with several albums out, loved the idea of dramatic black candles paired with velvet linens throughout the space. Fun design aspects were incorporated everywhere you turned, details like pomegranates in the centerpieces, velvet napkins, and gold accents throughout.

We love flowing silk ribbon, especially when it accompanies beautiful bouquets. The floral color pallet above pairs beautifully with the bridesmaid's taupe dresses.

This is the reaction a wedding planner can only hope for when showing the bride and groom their completed reception space. When the candles are lit, place settings are set, and every detail is in place, we LOVE seeing client reactions. This is why we do what we do!

Here at JRE, we are a sucker for a good first look. Not only does it help with the timeline, it also allows for the couple to ease any nerves, enjoy cocktail hour, and take more photos on the wedding day! Simone and Sean's first look was captured next to the Old Sugar Mill's 1934 sugar refinery. Doesn't she look beautiful?

There are so many options for name cards out there, how are you supposed to choose?? One search on Pinterest will pull up hundreds of ideas, but we're pretty sure the couple chose the best one out there. These real magnolia leaves were hand-written by the one and only Ashley Baumgartner, and completed the place setting perfectly.

In our eyes, there is no such thing as too much velvet. This velvet table linen and these napkins add an added dimension to the event. Mixing rounds and farm tables (both shown in the photo above) give the space complexity and flow.

Congratulations Simone and Sean!
