{Jenn Robirds Events} The King's Table, Three Ways

One of the hottest wedding trends we are seeing for 2017 is the king's table. These fabulous tables make quite the statement at your wedding reception- wow your guests and treat them like royalty! At four feet wide, they allow for an intimate feeling of a family dinner for your guests, with plenty of room still available for your dream tabletop design. We had the honor of creating this feature for Sacramento Bride and Groom, and enjoyed constructing three amazing and totally different looks with the same king's table to showcase their amazing versatility.

For our first look, rich velvet linens in shades of lilac draped our king's table. We created a classic romantic look with gold cutlery, brass candlesticks, lush florals, clear crystal, tall pillar candles and the most stylish small cake placecards. Greenery draped above the table and amethyst drinkware completed the look.

Our second look was comprised of more modern accents- industrial chairs, a wide-striped linen, aluminum chargers, and a self- designed napkin knot. Elegance was added with the crystal drinkware and shiny silver flatware. This modern look transfers well to all kinds of different venues- it would sit equally well in a loft space, a barn setting, or a country club estate.

The natural wood beauty of the king's table was displayed in our third look. We created an elegant farm table with wood cross back chairs, metal lanterns, wicker chargers and a beautifully draped garland down the length of the table. A table runner and napkins in shades of aqua added a cool and calming shade to this motif. We envision this design as the perfect look for a reception under the stars at a private estate.
